Antigoni Buxton

Η νεαρή τραγουδίστρια Αντιγόνη Buxton είναι κόρη της διάσημης αγγλοκύπριας μαγείρισσα Tonia Buxton, που με τις συνταγές της έμαθε στους Βρετανούς την ελληνική και κυπριακή κουζίνα. Η μεγάλη της κόρη η Αντιγόνη γεννήθηκε στις 9 Μαρτίου 1996 στο Λονδίνο και είναι τραγουδίστρια ενώ εμφανίστηκε πρόσφατα στην τηλεόραση, πιο συγκεκριμένα στο γνωστό reality show στο Η.Β. “Love Island”. Η Αντιγόνη αν και γεννηθηκε και μεγάλωσε στην Αγγλία μιλά αρκετά καλά και τα ελληνικά. 

Born and raised in North London, Antigoni is a Singer & Songwriter with Greek Cypriot roots, making brilliant waves across the world with her unique voice & captivating approach to creating music. Named after her Grandmother, Antigoni signed a publishing deal at age 14, & has since been developing a powerfully original sound that incorporates her cultural roots with her city based surroundings. It’s not uncommon for listeners to note the contrasting influence of Hip-Hop, Pop and Bouzouki music all in a single track of hers. This mix of genres and combining of Antigoni’s worlds, results in a unique new sound but with a universally familiar tone; representing her heritage with a palpable sense of pride over modern soundscapes. 
 Combining this with her incredibly strong voice and evocative lyrics, Antigoni has been routinely touted as a key musician to watch in 2022. This has been further amplified by a string of incredible performances across Europe & a TV appearance on Love Island, UK.
